The Abbey - Shrewsbury
After the Abbey we headed across the road to Shropshire Wildlife trust centre, First we walked around the wild gardens, This was quite interesting. After we went into the education centre. Kellyn was very excited. First he put together some jigsaws before he completed a wildlife quiz where he had to guess the creature. He completed this in double quick time. Next Daddy explained to him how to use a Microscope, Kellyn was amazed by it and looked at several different slides.
We learnt alot about how we can help preserve our Shropshire wildlife for future generations during this visit. We have gained lots of ideas too. Great visit which helps Kellyn with his Schooling.

Fab Day out in Shrewsbury
After our swim, We headed into the town for a look round the shops before going to KFC for dinner.
The Museum is located in an old Elizabethan house which was first built by William Rowley and was the first brick house in the town.
On The first floor there is currently and exhibition devoted the Charles Darwin and his family connections with the Wedgwood's which includes a beautiful display of Coal port Pottery.
On the Next level there is natural History displays including pretty rocks ans tones uncovered locally. There is also a display of finds from the Ice and Iron age. I was really interested in the finds the the Porth-Y-Wean area and Oswestry Hillfort.

Ceienna is now 9 months
This week the family celebrated our little princess turning 9 months, Where has the time gone. She is coming on very well. She will now copy nosies, She has said Mum for the first time which was really exciting. She will hold her arms out for you to pick he up or hold her. Ceienna is now very mobile, not only using her hands and knee's but she is learning to walk and stand up too.
She eats really well but prefers to be independent and feed herself. Her favourite food at the moment is Home Made Chips. She has 2 teeth now and she really does make use of them.
She enjoys playing trains with Kellyn, Looking at books and has recently discovered Jigsaw puzzles after watching Kellyn complete his, She expressed such an interest we got her her own and these have now become her favourite toys along with anything with buttons. She is able to hold one finger out to press buttons which is great to watch her do, Apart from changing the channel in the Television.
Ceienna is a very talkative little girl and still has a beaming smile for everyone she means.
I can not believe our little girl in 9 months old, it does not seem that long since i was at home sitting on the side of the bed the night she was born looking into the carrycot admiring my newborn baby, Now we are planning her first Birthday, I cant believe how lucky i am to have to wonderful children.

Telford
Our travels recently took us to Telford as we were near to Telford Steam Railway, We just had to visit again, The family had such fun last time we were here so it was great to go back. Today the station was quite apart from a few volunteers. This gave Kellyn a chance to ask questions and show just how intelligent and confidence he really is as shine he did, The staff at the railway were amazed by his knowledge and even more so by his age. After our brief visit and our promise to return with our boy very soon, We were on our way.
