Wondering

Today the children and myself headed across the boarder into Wales, We were going to Welshpool. We parked the car and went for a wonder around the town. Its a lovely town and i always find it very relaxing here. After the Town we headed for a walk along the Canal. Kellyn was full of questions wanting to know how the Canal works and what the Locks were for. Good job i studied this at school and was able to answer his questions.

After Our visit to Welshpool, We visited Morton Corbet Castle, These place now unfortunately stands only in ruins though you can not help. that be impressed by the grandeur of it all and imagine what this place must have been like in its prime. Morton Corbet Castle is an Elizabethan building, but is a place now where you can relax and enjoy a stroll around as the English Heritage information boards set the scene for you.

Up and Out

This morning the Children and i headed out very early as we all could not wait for our day to start. We decided to take Muzzy for a walk and feed the ducks so we headed to Whittington Castle. As it was so early there was no one else around, not even dog walkers.Kellyn could not wait to Feed the ducks so we headed over to the moat first. The cygnets have now grown quite big and look very healthy. There is still lots of babies around here, We saw Moorhens, coots and ducks with babies Kellyn was really interested in watching them.

After a long time watching the ducks and wildlife, We headed for a walk around the site this is one of Kellyns favourite places as he can run free and we don't need to worry too much about cars. Muzzy was really excited also and enjoyed his free time running around chasing Kellyn like a mad thing while a very sleepy Ceienna looked on from her new luxury pram.

It was soon 9:30 and we had to leave to get to Shrewsbury for an appointment later in the day. But we had a lovely time together enjoying a fresh new day in a place from History.

Books R Fun !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today the family was invited to the local library for Ceienna to be presented with her Bookstart pack. So after wondering around the second hand shops we headed for the library.

There were lots of other babies here Kellyn played with everyone being very gentle and reading stories to them.

It was a really lovely time we all really enjoyed the Nursery Rhymes and songs especially the puppets.

Hopefully we will be going again in the new term depending on what happens.

Myddle Village Fate

Today Kellyn, Ceienna and myself headed to the Village fate at Myddle. There was so much to do here, First we looked around the vintage cars, before heading to the main fate. Next we spent lots of time look at the Falconry Display. Kellyn was most interested in the different birds and their names. There were also ferrets here which i thought where lovely. They were very tam and like to have a fuss.

Next we had an ice cream fresh Jersey cream it was fantastic much better than a normal Mr whippy. Which we enjoyed our ice cream we listened to the band. They were very good and played very recognisable tunes.

Next we went to the pre-school tent i thought this was a marvelous idea so did Kellyn. He painted a sheep model and they a cake. The teacher was amazed with him and his level of intelligence.

Time soon went and we headed back to the car, Kellyn wanted to sit and watch the kite flying demonstration which we did before heading home for a lovely tea.

At the Seaside beside the Sea

This morning we headed out early for a lovely family day. Daddy has been really busy with work lately so it was great to have him with us for the day.
We made our way through the countryside heading first to Bala for a breakfast stop. The whole family had great fun here Muzzy jumped straight in the lake and got very wet. After a wonderful time and some lovely refreshments we got back into the car and headed to the beach.

We arrived in Barmouth and there was hardly anyone around, which was lovely. Kellyn and Ceienna were both extremely excited and could not wait to get out of the car.

After a sprint to the beach we set up our camp for the day i left the children with daddy and took Muzzy for a walk along the hot sand.

After we got back we decided to have a digging competition even muzzy joined in, it was so much fun.
Daddy bought Ceienna a pink windmill she loved watching it all day while she played with the wheels on the pushchair.
Dinner time soon came and went and we treated ourselves to some ice creams before packing the car up and heading to our next stop.

We drove through the twists and turns of the welsh roads to another favourite place of mine Betws-y-Coed for a lovely dinner before driving home all very tired after a great day together enjoying everything about our family life and having two wonderful and very adorable children.
