Family Time In the Sun
After taking in some fresh air at the park we headed off to our next stop. Plas Madoc Swimming Pool.
It did not take long for us to get into our swimming costumes and hit the water. This was Ceienna's First time Swimming so it was even more exciting.
Kellyn went straight to the water slide. he is such a confident little lad and totally fearless. Ceienna loved the water especially when she went in her float which used to belong to Kellyn. Ceienna was even able to control it herself. Next it was time for the waves. The whole family had fun including Ceienna She loved it. After the waves finished the Boys headed on the Big Flume, My heart was in my throat thinking Kellyn would be scared by such an experience at 2 1/2 years old but no he came out laughing and back in the pool. I should have known better. Time shot by and it was time to go. Both the children were asleep before we left the car park.
As both the children were sleeping in the back of the car we headed to Llangollen and picked up some chips along with some fresh Oranges before heading up the Horseshoe Pass to spend a few precious moments together admiring the spectacular views of the Dee Valley.
After the children woke up full of energy from their sleep we headed home stopping in Ellesmere for a look around the shops.
A lovely day spent together, our family in glorious sunshine.

Today we decided to stay at home for some great fun and family time. Kellyn wanted to clean Rockin so he was happy doing that while Ceienna played happily in the sunshine. As the day went on it got colder so we went in doors for some more excitement Daddy got out his new Starsky and Hutch Scalextric and He and Kellyn had a great time racing the cars around the track. We all had a go even Ceienna. It was great fun, but another day over and done.

Easter Holidays Day 2
Today we continued our trip of the Great Little Trains of Wales. The day could only be described as beautiful, Sunny and Warm. We made our way through the countryside heading towards Aberystwyth, We stopped at Machynlleth on the way for a short break. After our short visit to Aberystwyth we drove out to Devils Bridge. On the way we could not believe what we could see , There at the side of the car there was a Red Kite flying in the sky as the sun hit its wings we could make out its spectacular colours, After stopping to watch the bird for a short while we continued our journey. We stopped to look at the Waterfall here before heading back up the road to the Station. We soon arrived at The Vale of Rheidol Railway, we where in luck there was a train waiting in the station, Kellyn could not wait to get out of the car and wonder down the line to see it. After having a wonder around the station we headed back to the Car for Dinner.Today our lunch was very special as Daddy had prepared a marvelous Picnic of Ham & Cheese Wraps and they were just so tasty. After we had finished dinner we drove back through the Countryside heading toward Corris. We arrived at the station just in time to buy our tickets and catch the train. The Journey was short but Ceienna was very excited We sat next to the engine which made both Ceienna and Kellyn even more excited. We soon arrived at the Maespoeth Station where we were transported back to a time before trains and given a demonstration of how Horses used to pull the carriages instead of trains. It was soon time to head back to our train back to Corris. When we arrived The children headed off to the playground with Daddy while i took Muzzy off for a good stretch. When we got back to the playground Muzzy could not wait to get off the lead and play with Kellyn in the playground he was on the climbing frame and even loved going down the slide. We just had so much fun. Before we headed home we took a short trip out to Aberdovey.

Peace and Tranquility
Kellyn was fascinated with the views and loved playing with the rocks along the footpath.
It was such a beautiful walk with wonderful views, After walking so far Kellyn was getting tired and Ceienna was now ready for a feed so we headed back to the car.
At the Visitor Centre we learned all about the Dam its past and present as well as its Nature. While on our walk in the morning we had already experienced the Nature coming across many birds from Wag Tails to the Valleys native Red Kites.
Kellyn found the Information really interesting especially about the wildlife and the fish.
After finishing our lunch i just had to look at the interesting statures which were in the Centre Car Park, They were wonderfully interesting.
Next stop was an experience we just could not have prepared ourselves for it was truly spectacular. We headed for the Red Kite Feeding Station at Gigrin Farm.
As well as Red Kites there were also Ravens t the site as well a Herons, We also spent a few Minutes admiring the Peacocks which were walking around the Farm. I also met a really cute Springer Spaniel here. We spent lots of time here it was such an amazing experience i really recommend.
As we headed back home we stopped at the Gilfach Farm Nature Reserve to allow Muzzy to stretch his legs before making our way home through the glorious Welsh Countryside.
