Thomasland at Drayton Manor Park Tamworth
Part of Kellyns Birthday treat was Thomas land we had been promising Kellyn a return trip for ages. He woke up very excited and could not wait to get into the car and set off.
Once we arrived and paid our entrance fee, we headed off to the zoo as none of the rides were open. I loved the zoo especially the Penguins and Kellyn has a fascination with Owls and here there are lots of different varieties. Over at the Meerkat pen Kellyn was singing the advert jingle for Compare the Market . Com the visitors were laughing at him so much, He is a natural born entertainer.
10:30 soon came around, time for the rides to open, we walked round to the main Thomas land entrance, both Kellyn and Ceienna were in total amazement as The magic of sodor came alike in front of their eyes.
Kellyn rushed over to the Diesel rides first for the start of the adventure. We had such a great time Kellyn is now big enough to go on every ride in Thomas land and he loved every minute. As did Ceienna she was just so excited as she boarded the rides and disappointed not to go on the bigger ones.
As Lunch time approached we boarded Rosie's coaches and headed to Spencer's activity park for our picnic. Kellyn and i had great fun at the playground. To allow time for our dinner to settle we headed to the New Thomas land Exhibition, Which is a giant model of the Island of Sodor. We were all very impressed.
Kellyn was now ready to head to the bigger rides. Daddy egged me on to go on to Storm Force 10, now i have to say I'm not the best person at theme parks but determined not to let the side down i climbed up the many steps to the ride. I have to say a week day is the best time to go to this place as it empty and we walked straight on to every ride with no queuing. I was expecting to to really scared of the ride but i found it so boring and slow but i was the only one on it as Daddy looked after the children. Next me and Kellyn went on the Cannon where we got drenched.
Time was going fast and Daddy, Kellyn and Ceienna went on more rides, before we knew it it was time for the rides to close and for us to head home. What a absolutely fantastic day we all had. Kellyn has now asked if we can go for Christmas but who knows .

Evening Stroll at Whittington Castle
After a busy day the family headed to Whittington Castle to enjoy a late Summers Evening feeding the ducks. We looked at the swans and their cygnets and were amazed at how they had grown in just a few months much like our own little babies. Kellyn and Ceienna each fed the ducks before we had a walk around the site. Kellyn and Ceienna also had a crawling race which was quite funny as there was no one else around the giggles echoed around the castle.

St.Asaph Car Show
Today the family headed out early into North Wales to St.Asaph. The journey over the Horseshoe Pass at such an early hour was simply breath taking. The children and i where singing all the way having great fun enjoying the scenery at the same time. We soon arrived at the show which was being held at the Tweed mill. We were made very welcomed but the stewards and Rockin was swamped all day with spectators. Kellyn found some lads to play with and was soon joining in with their games, He is so confident i sat there watching him full of pride for our outgoing talented little lad who could never be called shy. The weather started to change so we headed for a look around the Tweed mill. At the entrance there was a display of Owls all of which had been rescued. Kellyn was told the life stories of the owls on display, After we walked round the mill went back to Rockin for our lovely dinner with Daddy had prepared, Yet again we were swamped with people wanting to ask questions and compliment us about Rockin. The day went to fast and we had so much fun, It great to be part of a loving family, with two wonderful children which are so full of life you literally never stop.

Mad Week
What a week we have got so much done. Earlier in the week Muzzy, Google and Kirby Visited the vets for their check up and they all passed with flying colours. We have also had lots of fun with Kellyn doing Home Schooling with a difference learning while having fun. Daddy has even introduced Kellyn to carpentry, I was well impressed with them both. Motorbikes our lad just seems natural, Kellyn is with out any doubt a proper lad. Also this week the family visited Chester. We walked by the River Dee. For Daddy and i this was a really special place and we had a little giggle to ourselves remembering when we first started dating. We never though then we would return to this site with our 2 wonderful children. While at Chester we looked around some shops and walked round Chester Cathedral. We showed Kellyn and Ceienna some of the sites before we headed back to the car and made for home.

Streetfighters Show Whitchurch
A Beautiful sunny day saw us zipping around lots of boot sales including Shrewsbury, Whittington and later in the Afternoon Whitchurch.
After picking Rockin up from home we headed to Whitchurch to the Raven Cafe where Rockin was swamped as soon as it pulled up with spectators asking Questions and taking photos. Eventually we managed to break away from the crowds to look around the hundreds of bikes that had gathered for the event. before heading back to the Country Park for the Boot Sale.
Later on at home we enjoyed some very important Family Time, Playing with the children and tucking into a Delicious barbecue before it was bath and bed time for two very tired children.

Blists Hill Victorian Town Telford
Today the family headed to Blists Hill Victorian Town in Telford. This was a visit organised by the Home Education group, it provided a great opportunity to introduce Kellyn to History and he sure took up the offer. He wondered round asking both of us and the staff lots of questions. It has been some time since we visited the site so we were looking forward to sampling the new attractions which of course include the new Fish and Chip shop, an experience i highly recommend. Also we went on the new clay mine excursion which reconstructs the underground mines and tells the story of the miners and the perils which they were faced with everyday. Ceienna Daddy and Kellyn had a huge amount of fun on the fairground. Ceienna didn't want the rides to end.
Today's trip was wonderful and educational we all really enjoyed it. Big Thank You to all the staff there for being so understanding of a very inquisitive little boy.

Wonderland-Telford
Today Kellyn, Ceienna and myself headed up the Motorway to Telford where we visited Wonderland. Wonderland is based on all our favorite classic children's tales and Nursery Rhymes. There is also a dinosaur part which was Kellyns favorite. My favourite was snow whites cottage, i would love a house like this myself. We wondered round for a while before heading to the castle which is the indoor play area. Kellyn and Ceienna had a great time in here. It was soon time to leave and we walked through Telford Town Park.
Bye Bye Daddy
Today was the first time Ceienna waved Daddy off to work. IT was just so sweet as she sat on the floor and waved to Daddy as he went through the door heading off to work. Bless her she is coming on leaps and bounds.

Eccleshall Show
Today the family headed to Staffordshire for the Eccleshall show, Originally we were going to take Rockin Robin but due to an extremely heavy work load we were not able to prepare it in time, However Grandad had taken his farm and Kellyn was looking forward to seeing it, So we set off through the boarder into the next county. Firstly we looked at the Classic Cars, we were amazed by the different club that were there supporting the show including the Mini's and Ford Capri. Kellyn was chuffed too as there was a Land Rover Display. Kellyn soon spotted Grandad and Nanny's Gazebo and both the children were extremely pleased to see them both, They decided to stay with them while we continued to look around the show. Next we watched the Working Gun Dog display, The dog's they were showing were in training but were still really good, i was really interested in them as spaniels are my favourite breed. Next we checked out the stalls and brought some odds and ends, Before returning back to the children and Nanny and Grandad.
A little while later we took the children to look around the show, We could not resit another look at the Dogs, One of the Dogs had recently had puppies and was proudly showing them off. Next we visited the poultry display, another all time favourite of mine, Kellyn also found some Kittens.
Next we looked in the Ferret Tent, all these lively animals were rescued, i was hard to belive how anyone could treat these small creatures so badly, some of there stories were honorific but on the brighter side it was good to see how they had transformed into the fun loving animals they are today.

County Of Salop Steam Show
Our Family Spent the Last Bank Holiday before Christmas at a very special event. The County of Salop Annual Steam Rally, To give it its proper title. People come from all over Europe to be at this event not just to Exhibit but to soak up the atmosphere that this event produces. This year there were lots of Exhibitors from the Wirral to Daddy's Delight and it was also attended by the son of the late Fred Dibnah.
Kellyn was so excited as we walked through the entrance gates as we were greeted by the sounds of the little stationary engines, well some not so little. These are Kellyns favorite exhibits and have been for some time now. We spent some time wandering around looking at the engines and answering all Kellyns Questions the best we could.
After looking at the Cars, Steam engines and Vintage bikes, We settled down to watch the parade around the ring of the working Horses. Ceienna's Favourite, she was very excited as the large shires went past her.

After the auto jumble we walked to the working field, Here steam engines, Vintage tractors and Horses were all working hard demonstrating working life in times gone bye.
Also in the working fields there was vintage tractor pulling and a static display of British Tractor Pulling by the new Pro- Stock Champion, The Bear Pulling team. Memories came flooding back to me. We watched a steam engine from 1875 complete a " Full Pull" in the Tractor Pulling before we sampled some wonderfull freshly squeezed apple juice, It really tasted fantastic far better than anything you can purchase in the Supermarket.
We left the working field via aTractor Ride Kellyn thought this was great and gave a running commentary to the people riding in the trailer with us. We arrived next to the main arena just in time the see the Grand Old Lady Parade, This has been something very close to my heart for many years. This year was no disappointment.
