Christmas With the McHugh's 2009

Christmas this year was full of excitement, Kellyn and i put up the tree with a little help from Ceienna. Kellyn was extremely proud of himself.

Christmas Eve Kellyn spent the day on the computer tracking Santa across the world, adding to the excitement we thought it was great fun learning about other places on our planet and how other people live and celebrate Christmas. We also made some last minute Christmas decorations while settling down to watch the Christmas movies.

Christmas Day, Kellyn could not wait to get down stairs and see what presents he had, Ceienna too ripped off the shiny paper looking to see the gifts inside . They both had all the presents they had asked for.

Boxing day we headed to Wales for a drive looking at the views of the snow. It was great. Kellyn was very happy, Its great looking at the back seats and seeing two beaming faces looking back at you. We eventually Settled in Bala for our dinner along with all the ducks who swamped our car and some were even inside eating what food they found. Great fun.

TELFORD DAY

Today daddy took kellyn and ceienna to telford while mummy was buzy building her empire,we said goodbye to mummy and headed to jungle land this is a great place to go you get a free train ride inside, kellyn was a off like a shot climbing and running around ceienna was practising her walking and exploring everything.It was very busy and lots to see and do ceienna decided to venture off on her own but i was following her just to make sure she was safe kellyn was into everything playing with all the other children there is a huge slide there and me and ceienna thought y not lets do it she loved it next there was a call for the train ride kellyn handed his ticket in and sat at the front while myself and ceienna were at the back off we went kelyn loved it ceienna was screaming with excitement afterr that we had another run around and then we decided to head to telford steam railway this is a favourite place of the childrens there was lots going on and we saw all the trains kellyn took his toy diesel 10 to play with we then had a train ride on the minitaure railway on a steamer it was great kellyn was asking the driver lots of questions and he was very polite it was getting colder so we headed back to the car were we headed back to shrewsbury and to see mummy she had been very busy and all her hard work is paying off now i am very proud of her it was a lovely day out.

Wonderland- Telford

Today the children and i headed to a very cold Telford. Parking the car we then had a lovely stroll though Telford Town Park. The park was just alive with many different forms of wildlife.

Kellyn amazed me with how much he knew. Eventually we made it to the entrance to Wonderland, From the start there was Christmas music playing all the way around adding to the mood. There were lots of schools there today including ones from Wales. It was soon time to meet up with our group and head in for our very exciting appointment. Both the children were booked to see Santa in his log cabin it was a great set up. Santa gave each child in the group a present, before we left for our walk around the park. In Winter Wonderland there were real reindeer which were just so cute and i especially loved the Ice Mountain.

Snow Whites Cottage was my favourite. Kellyn especially enjoyed going on the rides as he is able to go on his own here. It was a lovely trip, we had lots of fun today, me and Kellyn talked lots too. It really helped get ready for Christmas coming here too, Now it will be an early night as we have two more action packed days played.

Playgroup Christmas Party

Yesterday was the children Christmas party at playgroup, they were both very excited and could not wait to get there. When we did arrive Kellyn dumped his coat and raced off to find his friends closely followed by Ceienna, Get not having Clingy Children, so i headed off to the kitchen with our party contribution before heading back to join the children for a play, soon we heard a strange sound, Santa came in with lots of presents for the children. Kellyn was so please with his.

Next we headed for the long table lined with Yummyhome prepared food, it was lovely, while the mums and dads had a glass of mulled wine.

It was a lovely party and me and the children had a great time.

A HAPPY DAY ON TRAINS

TODAY THE FAMILY DONE THE USUAL HEADING TO THE BOOT SALES KELLYN LOVES DOING THIS AND IS ALWAYS LOOKING FOR TRAINS OR TRACTORS FOR HIS COLLECTION HE IS VERY GOOD AT IT NOW AND IS VERY POLITE WHEN ASKING HOW MUCH THING ARE HE IS GRASPING THE SENSE OF MONEY NOW AND EVEN PAYS FOR THINGS HIMSELF.CEIENNA WAS IN THE CAR AS IT WAS A BIT TO COLD FOR HER AND SHE WAS PLAYING WITH HER NEW STEERING WHEEL SHE LOVES BEEPING THE HORN ON IT AS WE DRIVE ALONG.WE THEN HEADED TO MCDONALDS FOR BREAKFAST KELLYN NOW EATS LOADS HE IS A VERY STRONG AND HANDSOME BOY ,CEIENNA IS ALSO VERY PRETTY AND THEY ARE ALWAYS GETTING LOVELY COMMENTS ON HOW THEY BEHAVE AND HOW LOVELY THEY ARE MAKES ME VERY PROUD,AFTER WE HAD EATEN WE THEN HEADED TO TELFORD TOWN HERE THEY HAVE A VERY BIG CAR BOOT ON HARD STANDING WHO WANTS TO BE WALKING AROUND A MUDDY FIELD GETTING FILTHY NOT US.WE GOT SOME BARGAINS AND THEN HEADED TO TELFORD STEAM RAILWAY I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH GEORGINA SHE FOUND HER WAY THERE PERFECT LOT BTR THAN ME AS TELFORD IS A BIG PLACE AS WE PULLED UP KELLYN AND CEIENNA,S EYES BOTH LIT UP IN THE DISTANCE WAS A STEAM TRAIN HEADING OUR WAY HUGE CLOUDS OF STEAM FILLING THE AIR,WE GOT OUT OF THE CAR KELLYN WAS SO EXCITED THERE ARE LOTS OF TRAINS ON DISPLAY ANE EVEN DIESEL 10 IS ASLEEP IN THE SHED WELL THAT WHAT KELLYN THINKS BLESS HIM,CEIENNA IS ALSO A BIG FAN OF TRAINS AND TRACTORS AND SHE WAS BEEMING WITH DELIGHT HER BIG BLUE EYES TAKING EVERYTHING IN WE HEADED TO THE TRAIN CEIENNA IN MY ARMS AND KELLYN WITH MUMMY ,THERE WAS ALSO A MINI TRAIN RIDE GOING ON SO WE ALL HAD TO GIVE IT A GO KELLYN PAID THE FARE AND OFF WE WENT THE TRAIN DRIVER WAS SO GOOD WE HAD A EXTRA GO FOR FREE WHEN WE GOT OFF KELLYN SAID THANK YOU HE IS SO POLITE.WE THEN HEADED TO THE SHOP WERE WE BOUGHT THEM SOME GIFTS KELLYN HAD A SUPER THOMAS CUP AND A THOMAS ANNUAL, CEIENNA HAD SOME LITTLE SNACK BOWLS WITH THOMAS ON.TIME WAS GETTING ON AND WE THEN HEADED BACK TO SHREWSBURY WERE WE WENT TO THE TWO HENRYS PUB HERE THEY HAVE A BIG INDOOR PLAY BARN KELLYN SHOES OFF AND STRAIGHT TO THE TOP OF THE SLIDE CEIENNA PLAYED IT THE BABY SECTION SHE IS SO INDEPENDENT NOW SHE WAS EXPLORING EVERYTHING ON HER OWN AND INTERACTING VERY WELL WITH THE OTHER CHILDREN,SHE IS NEARLY WALKING NOW AND CAN TAKE A GOOD FEW STEPS WONT BE LONG BEFORE SHE IS.WHILE THEY WERE PLAYING WE ORDERED A MEAL EACH AND WHILE WE ATE WE WATCHED THEM PLAYING IT WAS SO NICE.CEIENNA WAS GETTING TIRED SO WE HEADED BACK TO THE CAR AND WENT HOME, LOOKING BACK ON THE DAY IT MAKES U REALISE LIFE IS TO SHORT AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS ARE THE PEOPLE WHO CARE AND LOVE YOU U SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE THAT TIME BECAUSE WHEN ITS GONE ITS GONE.I WOULD ALSO LIKE THE WORLD TO KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE GEORGINA AND MY TWO LITTLE STARS WITHOUT YOU MY LIFE WOULD BE EMPTY THANK YOU XXXXXXX

Santa Special on Cambrain Railway, Llynclys

Today saw the start of the children's 2009 Christmas Celebrations, We made our way to Llynclys, which is the home of Cambrian Railway for the Santa Special. Both Kellyn and Ceienna were bubbling with excitement as we parked the car and could not wait to be let out. We were showin into a carriage where it was warm and Kellyn could do some drawing while we paid our fair and the Guard informed us of the Health and Safety rules. I was amazed at how friendly all the staff were here, They made us most welcome. I would really recommend visiting them.

After talking to the Guard, we headed out to look at the train, It was a small steam train called Isabel. Kellyn and Ceienna were invited on to the footplate for a look inside, Kellyn was full of questions and Ceienna was itching to have a go.

Next we headed to see Santa in his Grotto, Ceienna though this was great and was very excited to receive her present, Kellyn was a little nervous but again the Guard talked to him and eventually Kellyn spoke to Santa giving him his list for Christmas Presents.

Next we took a ride on the train Kellyn and Ceienna had a talk on how to drive the train and had their journey sitting in with the Guard. It was a wonderful trip, i was so glad we went, The children had big beaming smiles on their faces the whole time, It brought home to me how special these children are over 6 people commented on the children, especially Kellyn his manors and confidence shines like a beacon, I am so proud of him, He has overcome so much this year and come through it all with little effect on him now. As for the railway this is very much a work in progress, but they make up for it in their kindness and passenger care, What a lovely group.

After our trip on the train we settled down for some dinner, having a Yummy Hotpot from the cafe it was super and great for warming up our insides before we headed outside for the magic show.

We took our seats in time for the show to begin, I have never seen such an excellent Magic show for children. Kellyn and Ceienna loved every minute of it, Kellyn even remembered every trick later and talked about nothing else through tea. It Really was the best show i have ever seen.

Before leaving we took another ride on the train, This time Ceienna did get her go driving, She was chuckling all down the track. Great Few Hours Fun we all had before normality set in.

Happy Birthday Daddy

Today the family got together to celebrate Daddies birthday. We had a lovely dinner before having a look around the shops. It was a great lazy day going with the flow. Later on Nanny had made a lovely Home Cooked meal for us.
