North Wales Tour Holiday

This weekend the family took off up to the North Wales Coast and had a wonderful time touring around there.

Friday

Friday afternoon Daddy finished work early and by the time he got home the car was packed and ready to go. There was just enough time for him to get washed and changed and off we went.

We stayed in a Static Caravan in Abergele right on the Coast.

Once we arrived and had emptied the car we went to get some tea.

After tea we went for walk around the camp site to look at the facilities available. Kellyn found the Play Park and really enjoyed a good play there letting off steam after traveling.

Saturday

Saturday morning we where up early and headed to Tir Prince for the first of many Car Boot Sales we went to over the weekend. Once we finished there we went to another Indoor sale.

Once we finished the boot sales we made our plans for the day. It was decided we would head out to Betws-Y-Coed.
WE parked the car and headed for the town. We then went over to the Conwy Valley Railway. Kellyn was so excited when we walked through the arch way from the town onto the Station. His little face beamed at what he saw.

We got him out of the pushchair and he climbed the steps over the bridge and down the other side. First we came across the Toby Toy Truck he just had to have a go, and he managed to drive it himself.

While went into the shop and got our ticket for the train, Kellyn loved looking in the shop, there was lots and lots of trains and Thomas items.
After we had finished looking around the shop we went onto the station and got on the train. Kellyn chose the back carriage. I went in with him first.
And then it was Daddy's turn.

This is a lovely Railway with some lovely views.
After we finished looking around the railway we where all hungry so decided to walk to the town for something to eat.
We got some chips and some pies we also treated ourselves to some yummy home made cakes. We headed to the river to sit and eat our dinner.
It was a beautiful place to go so peaceful and relaxing.

We have said many times Kellyn could eat for England this weekend we no different.
He ate most of the Chips....

And Daddy's Steak Pie.

Once Kellyn had polished off the dinner, lol we went back to the car and reluctantly headed to our next stop, Colwyn Bay.

We didn't stay long here. We did have a look round and drove along the coast to admire the views and took some more photos.
Time ran out of the days quickly while we where away so we headed back to the Caravan for our tea.
After tea we took Kellyn out to the disco. The whole family had a great time Kellyn was on the dance floor dancing with a little girl he had made friends with.
Sunday
Sunday Morning arrived we headed out to another Car Boot Sale, This was fantastic even better than Chirk it really was. It was massive and we brought loads. We really enjoyed wondering around here, must remember it is there.

After the Sale the family went for Breakfast then headed out to the beautiful coast in Conwy.
The weather was great and we quickly parked the car put Kellyn in the pushchair and went to explore the town.

We looked around the Castle ground

We had all had a great time at Conwy Castle, The whole family had a lot of fun rolling in the grass, Playing Tag and exploring the grounds. Great Fun. Lots of Smiles and laughter.

After we had finished at the castle we headed to the harbour for our dinner Fish, Chips and Peas lovely. Once we had finished our dinner we decided a Ice Cream would be good. so off we went to get some I had a Honey Comb And Daddy had a Strawberry. Kellyn ate both. lol

After we had taken in the views of the harbour and we had looked at the Smallest House, we headed back to the car. It was lovely there and so refreshing.

After we finished exploring Conwy we headed to Rhyl we just had to visit the Miniature Railway we had seen from the road.
We really didn't know what to expect but once we got there it was a breath taking.

We boarded the train and enjoy a wonderful ride around the beautiful lake Kellyn really loved it he was chuckling all around the lake.

Once we had finished on our train ride we visited the Museum. Again this was very informative. we all enjoyed this visit the staff where all very friendly and the views as you can see where lovely.
After some gentle persuasion we got Kellyn away from the station and once again jumped in the car for a quick visit to Prestatyn This was Kellyn first time on the Beach he was fascinated with the feel of the sand on his feet. It was to cold to take him in the sea.
After our full day we headed back to the camp site. Kellyn played with his new toy out side the caravan.

Monday Morning it was time to head home, We had a lovely journey though the car was a little over loaded, lol. We visited Bala and then on the the Beautiful Lake Vyrnwy one of my favourite places full of memories for me. We went for a walk around the sculpture park and Kellyn well all of us enjoyed playing in the park and did not really want to leave but had to.
We all had a fab weekend together and a time we will never forget.
